Even as a child, food was more than ‘just’ food for me. For as long as I can remember, food has felt important. I used to put a lot of energy into it and always had a complex relationship with it. So, when I recently heard myself referring to food as ‘just’ food, I was surprised!
Food is an essential part of our human experience, yet our relationship with it is often influenced by subconscious thoughts we pick up from people around us. In today’s episode, I share how my relationship with food has changed and how I’ve come to think about it as ‘just’ food, or fuel.
Tune in to discover how to develop a relationship with food that is true to yourself, whether you view food as fuel or have a deep attachment to it. I share stories from my childhood when I was hyper-focused on food and discuss how I changed my relationship with food to become what I wanted it to be.
