When it comes to emotions, most people think they have two options: bottle them up and hold them in, or react. But there’s a third option, one that is much more serving and beneficial, and that is to allow the emotion to be in your body and feel your feelings.

Society tends to think of feelings as separate from actions. There is the belief that if you are a “feeling person” you aren’t an “action taker”, yet this couldn’t be further from the truth.
